Laparoscopic Surgery is a keyhole surgery introducing a telescope through your bellybutton to visualize your abdominal and pelvic organs and perform surgery if required.

It usually involves two to four small cuts in your abdomen ( 0.5 to 1 cm ) and is performed under general anesthesia requiring a hospital stay.

It is performed for either diagnostic or treatment purposes.
